Whether you accidentally stumbled across our website and/or fall into the category of family & friends we invite you to look around and view each of our own individual pages, tastes, and styles. We met while serving/working with Mercy Ships and we later married on November 5th, 2006 not to far from the Mercy Ships International Operations Center in East Texas.

Mercy Ships is a global charity, that has operated hospital ships in developing nations since 1978. Following the example of Jesus, Mercy Ships brings hope and healing to the forgotten poor, mobilizing people and resources worldwide, and serving all people without regard for race, gender or religion.

Mercy Ships was also a featured organization in the premiere issue of: NEED ~ THE HUMANITARIAN MAGAZINE: We are not out to save the world, but to tell the stories of those who are.

Right now we are working in West Africa as volunteer staff/crew with Mercy Ships aboard their newest ship the Africa Mercy. The world’s largest Charity (non-government) hospital ship!

Tyrone is working as a chef/cook in the galley. The Africa Mercy has a berth capacity for 484 crew. Imagine feeding over 400 crew members and hosting special functions while on outreach in developing nations.

Stephanie is working as a Registered Nurse. The Africa Mercy includes six state of the art operating theaters, intensive care, and ward bed space for up to 78 patients. In addition to the patients there is also the care of the Africa Mercy’s 400+ volunteer crew to think about.

These will be our primary jobs but there are endless opportunities to work in so many different areas…dedicated volunteers representing over fifty nations bring together their wide-ranging skills to make a lasting difference.
