So I bought this sandwich, phillycheesesteak thickburger…Or something of that nature from Hardee’s, another vast disappointment!
If you research a press release on it the sandwich was supposed to be 3.99 and the small combo 5.79 but at our participating Hardee’s the sandwich itself was 4 something (maybe 4.79) can’t remember exactly at this point. It was a nice try but the philly part tasted like stew meat, and the onions and green peppers were extremely overcooked…so my soggy bun sandwich tasted like burger with stew on it and was just as messy.
AND at almost 5 dollars for just the sandwich (tax included) I could almost get 2 6-inch subway sandwich specials. Almost. Or a really good Quizno sandwich.
Nice try on creativity…but add the ‘topping’ to your soup menu.
